Mandatory Insurance Coverage for OFWs
The Philippine Overseas Employment Agency or POEA has released recently a memorandum stating that mandatory insurance coverage for OFWs shall now include and cover Balik-Manggagawa and Direct-Hires.
Kailangan mo kumuha OEC if you change company/employer, POEA is now requiring all of you to have your own INSURANCE with Repatriation Service.
The good thing is, If you are an Internationally coded IMG member you already have this as part of your benefit.
